Zhuhai Hengpin Tianhu Resort

Zhuhai, China

Competition for a new Resort of 80 keys on thirty (30) hectare mountain site centered on a freshwater lake on the South China sea, adjacent to the district of Macau. The resort is conceived as a series of spaces connected to this natural environment that carries the centuries of Chinese gardens to another spatial typology that honors the environment but then differentiates the experience both exterior and interior. This dialogue where the architecture focuses on new typologies with traditional materials to respect the sacredness of this natural setting.
