Interior design and renovation of the Wangfujing Renaissance Hotel situated in the center of Beijing. This is a renovation and addition to an older structure built in the late 1980’s whose virtue was it had grandfathered views of the Forbidden City which was unique in Beijing. The program for the project was 240 Keys, a conference center, spa and fitness center, three restaurants and a separate club that reflected tradition Hutong Architecture of Beijing. The concept is a narrative of the culture of Beijing past, present and future.
