Capital Renaissance Hotel Beijing Retrofit

Renovations of the Capital Renaissance Hotel in the Central Business District in Beijing focused on the guest rooms and restaurant Amenities. The new Chinese Restaurant, “The Fat Duck” is developed around the concept of a traditional Beijing courtyard house, a Hutong, making divisions of spaces from central court and private rooms with screen and natural light creating a new interpretation with a spatial typology.
