Dalian Gold Coast
Dalian, China
The Dalian Gold Coast mixed use development is a waterfront development in a prestigious site in Dalian that extends this resort community into a mixed use cultural and entertainment center focused on the Asian film industry. The development provides the facilities for film education, experience, museum and archival facilities as well as production facilities as well as multiple theater facilities to host local and international events.
The development is a series of neighborhoods that combine educational and production venues, mid-rise residential, retail and 5- star conference center and hotel, waterfront villas and entertainment venues and manmade islands with causeways for yacht clubs and marinas, theater halls and events center. Two existing islands are used for a medical health spa, a boutique hotel for specialty medical and health related activities ranging from yoga and natural healing practices to meditation and psychological therapies. The second island is a Buddhist Temple and Shrine. Together this waterfront district is both resort and neighborhood and complements the landscape of the surrounding hills and water views. This community is designed for 5,000 residents, and 500 keys between the Hotel and resort villas.
